Although Lou Waikam (right) and Lee Yuyun (left) did not know each other prior to the Tzu Chi food pantry program, they have bonded over looking down upon the line-cutters while waiting for their portion of groceries. In fact, during my interview with Lee, they interrupted me, mid-question, to point out the line-cutters further up ahead. Lou:“我有什麼-” What were some of the- “看！就是他們！” Look! There they are! Lee: “每一次就這樣!你們可以跟他們跟他們說嗎？They do it every time! Can you guys [referring to the volunteers] do something about it? I went to talk to the notorious line-cutters, asking them to step to the back of the line.
